Cards Cards and More Cards!!!

What a sight!!!!

I sent 153 cards to Scrapbook Royalty last week--that made their total cards received count go up to 1200!!!!

Here's how (we) did it:

The girls and mothers of Girl Scout Troop 609 made 40 cards!!!

The customers and design team at Scrappin' Good Times made 27 cards at my make-one and take-one project at the Class Kickoff.

Five were donated by one of the wonderful SGT customers!!

Katie and I made 70+ cards, most of which I made at Who Gives A Scrap? National Card Making Day event on October 6th!!

Thanks so much everyone who helped. According to Elena at Scrapbook Royalty's blog, the cards will sent to
SDNSBlueStarMothers.org who will then forward them to soldiers stationed in the following areas:

Army Airborne Unit in Afghanistan

Combat Hospital in Baghdad

A Marine unit in Baghdad

A Marine unit on the Syrian Border

As well as other troops in Afghanistan and Iraq

Thanks again for helping support a noble cause. I hear murmurings that there may be another card collecting effort underway....something to do with hearts and love....hmmmmm. I'll keep you posted!!

Totally Bummed

Well, I misread and missed the deadline for the Reminisce DT contest but at least I did get alot of scrapping done which is always a good thing, right?!! Some really talented people won and I can't wait to see what they create as part of this new team--there is always next year though!

I got alot done so if you wanna see, here ya go!!!

Slainte

I used the “green Day” line for this LO.

Matt on the Move

I used the “Which Way?” paper line and stickers from the “Boys Gone Wild” line.

Our Boy 6x12 Half Circle Book

I created this using almost 100% Reminisce products—I used the “Genuine Boy” line. There are partial pages in the book made of acetate that have pictures, rub-ons, diecuts, and stickers on both sides. The pics show the pages with these overlapping the pages and without them overlapping.

“All About You” 6x9 Book

I made this 6x9 chipboard and acetate album using Reminisce’s “Live Out Loud” line. The acetate pages are 6x9 and shown over a piece of white cardstock.
